Srimanta Sankardev tithi and Ganesh Chaturthi(02/09/2019)::
Sankardev tithi and Ganesh Chaturthi were celebrated in the
Vidyalaya on 2nd September, 2019. Though Sankardev tithi falls on 1st September
2019, due to Sunday, it was celebrated on 2nd September together with Ganesh
Chaturthi. The program began with the floral tribute on the portrait of
Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev and Lord Ganasa by guest of honour Sri Mohan
Dihingia(DGM civil, NEEPCO) and Principal
of the Vidyalaya Sri P V Ramesan. Sri Santosh Dubey and Sri Vijay Upadhyay,
two teachers of the Vidyalaya carried the program forward with Ganesh Puja.
Principal of the Vidyalaya delivered a welcome speech as well as spoke on the
significance of the day. Aarti of Lord Ganesh was performed by Sri Santosh
Dubey and Sri Vijay Upadhyay. The occasion was graced with Borgeet presentation
by the students of class V. There was a 'Satriya Dance' performance by the
students of classes VI, VII, VIII, IX. The program reached to its height of excellency
with the Dihanam presention by Namghar Bhakat Baishnab Brinda. Guest of honour,
Sri Mohan Dihingia delivered a very significant speech on this beautiful and serene
occasion. The program curtained with the vote of thanks by Sri Satyajit
Duwarah, a teacher of the Vidyalaya. Lastly there was Prasad distribution for
all present there.
Vidyalaya took a creative initiative of
making Ganesh idol, flower pot, fruits and vegetables on the occasion of Ganesh
Chothurthi. Students of classes IV, V, VI participated in this competition with
the guidance of Smt. Nebidita Das (Art Teacher), Utpal Das (Computer Teacher),
Sandeep Paul(PRT), Yogesh Agnohitri (PRT) and Smt Maya Devi Rai (PRT). The students who
really Excelled in this competition are Kum Rasen Ranghangpi, Kum Somindar
Rongpi,Su Ujjani Das, Kum Rishikesh Daulaguphu,Kum Prasurja Porban Bora,Su
Hritika Sharma, Kum Archim Enghi, Kum Bikram Phangcho, Su Rangmaidi Kemprai, Su
Reshmi Malakar, Su Junali Nunisa, Su Anjana Jachipi, Kum Rajib Bey,Su Awasmita Purakayastha, Kum Youvraj
Pradhan(v).
