VKV Umrangso observed Sadhana
Divas to pay tribute to Maneeya Eknathji Ranade. The programme began with
offering of flowers at the portrait of Eknathji Ranade by the Principal. It was
followed by a patriotic song by a group of students. Sri Arundhoy roy
Choudhury, Vice-principal of the vidyalaya spoke on Eknathji’s contribution and
how he is still a source of inspiration to people associated with Vivekananda
Kendra and many others. Principal of the vidyalaya also highlighted the tasks-
Rock Memorial, establishment of Vivekananda Kendra and Vidyalayas in North East
done by him. On this occasion the participants of Bina Pani Lalit Kala Smarogh from the vidyalaya were facilitated by the Principal.
