Sadhana Divas
On 19th Nov, 2017 in the
Kendra Varga for family members of VKV staff paid homage to Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade and observed Sadhana Divas. The programme
began with floral tribute at the portraits of Eknathji Ranade and Swami Vivekananda
by the Principal. It was followed by a melodious song led by Mrinali Didi and
followed by all the people gathered in the vidyalaya. It was followed by a
valuable speech by the Principal. In his speech he highlighted Eknathji’s early
life, his hard toil to materialize the rock memorial, compiling Rousing call to
Hindu nation, his contribution as a kshetra pracharak for poorvanchal, his
visit to entire north east after the great earthquake, his endeavour to
establish VKVs in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam etc. Finally we had rumination on
the chapter “Discipline” from “Sadhana of Service” by Eknathji Ranade.
