VKV (NEEPCO) Umrangso organized Personality Development Camp (PDC) – a five day Shibir (4rth - 8th July, 2023) for the students of class VI to make the children ready for their physical, mental and intellectual development. The Shibir was conducted smoothly only because of the responsibilities shouldered by the following-

Sanchalak Gitashree Sharma, Baudhik Pramukh: Lamu Singh Workade, Sharirik
Pramukh : S. Surachandra Singha, Vyavatha Pramukh : Lakhi Prasad Dutta, Samay
Prahari : Utpal Das, Shakshi Vinayak : Utpal Das.
The students reported
at 8.40 and were busy in various sessions.
Prarthana led by Gitashree Sharma and Junali Bhattacharjee, opening
ceremony taken by Gurucharan Das (Principal), Bauddhik Satras conducted by Tarini Kanta Sharma, Vijay Kr. Upadhyay,
Yogesh Kr. Agnihotri, Satyajit Duwarah and S. Dubey, Bauddhik Vishleshans conducted by Tarini Kanta Sharma and Gitashree Sharma, Karyashala conducted by Lakhi Prasad Dutta,
Bipul Ch. Bhagawati and Lamu Singh Workade,
Yogabhyas conducted by S. Surachandra Singha, Geet/Bhajan led by Soma Das, Gitashree
Sharma, Junali Bhattacharjee, Meditation conducted by Tarini Kanta Sharma,
Samskar Varga conducted by S. Surachandra Singha and Utpal Das enriched their
personality. The students learnt a lot from the sessions and found them
motivating. Sessions like Swami Vivekananda as a great personality, the story
of rock memorial, Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev really motivated and inspired
the students. The valediction ceremony was graced by Smt. Swaramoni Bhuyan
Saikia (Head Mistress, JB Hagjer Assamese LP School, Umrangso). This was
revealed during the session of sharing experience by students where they
expressed that Personality Development Camp enriched a lot in honing their
personality.
