Speech by the Principal of the Vidyalaya
VKV (NEEPCO), UMRANGSO observed 125 birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on 24th January 2022 (23rd January being a Sunday, the school was closed.) In the year 2021, the Government of India has declared 23rd January as Parakram Divas to pay tribute to the great freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose whose sacrifice can never be measured and compared with. The program started with invocation of mangalacharana by all and floral tribute by the respected principal Sri P.V. Ramesan at the portrait of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose,  Swami Vivekananda and Bharat Maata. A patriotic song sung by a group of students guided by Smt. Suma Didi added melody to the program. Then a speech was delivered by Sri Kamal Sutradhar(teacher) by narrating few incidents of Netaji's life. He spoke of his (Netaji's) immense love for his country and of his bold decision and great sacrifices for which we are living in a free country. According to him, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose can never die as he is living in each and every citizen of the country. At last, Principal sir in his short speech quoted Netaji about Swami Vivekananda and adeed fragrance to the program by mentioning of the installation of great Statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at the India gate by Government of India. The programme was concluded with Shanipath.
