Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti
Vidyalaya paid homage to two
great leaders of India on 2nd October 2018. On this significant day (Gandhi
Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti) Principal and Vice-Principal of the vidyalaya paid
floral tribute at the portraits of both Gandhiji and Shastriji. A group of
students sang the song “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram Patita Pavan Sitaram”. It was
followed by a speech delivered by Sri Supriya Deb (Teacher) on both the
leaders. Students from classes III to V delivered dialogues of prominent
freedom fighters. The principal also highlighted on the contribution of
Gandhiji and and Shastriji to our country. Finally a cleanliness drive was executed
in different areas of NEEPCO campus and in the school premises as well, a part
of Sachha Bharat Abhiyan.
