Swachhata Pakhwada


Some dignitaries of NEEPCO, Sri Mohan Dihingia (DGM, Civil), Sri Amit Das (Manager, Electrical), Sri Amarjit Sinha (Assistant Admin. Officer, HR Dept) visited on 27/08/2018 in our Vidyalaya to conduct “SWACCHATA PAKHWADA” , an awareness programme on Swacchata organized by NEEPCO. Sri P.V. Ramesan, Principal, VKV (NEEPCO) Umrangso welcomed them with great affection and introduced them to the students. Sri Mohan Dihingia Sir then addressed the students of our Vidyalaya and highlighted the significance of SWACCHATA in our life, internally and externally. After that they announced about a campaign regarding various competitions among the students. This campaign was conducted from 27/8/2018 to 31/08/2008 and was organized in different levels, such as Drawing Competition for the students of Classes VII to VIII, Essay Writing Competition for the students of Class IX & Slogan Writing Competition for the student of Class XI. The students actively took part in the above mentioned competitions and expressed their moral responsibilities in terms of their thoughts and creativity.

A total of 65 participants took part in Drawing Competition, out of which Km. Sneha Hojai (Class VIII), Km. Rupmita Paul (Class VII) and Km. Debasmita Bhattacharjee (Class VII) bagged 1st , 2nd & 3rd Prize respectively. Km. Ujjayani Dey (Class VII) & Km. Snigdha Paul (Class VIII) won the consolation prizes.

A total of 19 students of Class IX took part in Essay Writing Competition, out of which Kr. Piyush Kumar Dubey, Km. Susmita Debnath and Kr. Simanta Pegu bagged 1st, 2nd & 3rd Prize whereas Kr. Prithviraj Konjengbam and Km. Priya Tiwari got Consolation Prizes.

A total of 11 students of Class XI took part in Slogan Writing Competition out of which Km. Richa Tiwari, Km. Riddhi Dubey & Kr. Dhanesh Debnath Grabbed 1st ,2nd & 3rd Prizes and Km. Babyta Langthasa and Kr. Milton R. Hrangkhol bagged Consolation Prizes.

On 31/08/2018, Sri Debotosh Bhattacharjee (HOP), Sri A.K. Shaw (Sr. Manager, Finance), Sri Mohan Dihingia (DGM, Civil), Sri Amarjit Sinha (Assistant Admin. Officer) of NEEPCO visited the Vidyalaya to give away the prizes for the competitions.
