Silpi Divas

Vidyalaya remembered the cultural icon of Assam Sri Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala today in the morning assembly. The Principal of the Vidyalaya began it by offering flowers at the portrait of Jyoti Prasad Agarwala. It was followed by a speech by Su Rekhamoni Gogoi (a teacher) on the immense contribution of the great son of Assam. A group of students sang a Jyoti Sangeet on the occasion.

On the otherhand,   at primary block the programme was started with offering flower at the portrait of Jyoti Prasad Awarwala by Sri R K Tiwari (primary in-charge). There was a group song presented by class V students guided by Su Soma Das ( a teacher). It was followed by a speech by Su Bripti Das ( a teacher). The content of the speech were:
     1. Contribution towards Assamese Society.
     2. Songs, poems and dramas written by him.

The programme was ended with Shantipath.
