Rakshabandhan was celebrated in the Vidyalaya on 26th Aug
2018 to promote brotherhood and fraternity among children. As usual, it was
initiated with offering of flowers and Rakhi by the Principal at Swamiji’s
portrait together with invocation of Mangalacharana by students and teachers.
It was followed by a speech by the Principal elaborating the significance of
Raksha Bandhan. Students tied Rakhi, shared sweets class wise and pledged
to maintain brotherhood among them. After the program was over, students in
different groups under the guidance and supervision of teachers moved to the
assigned areas to tie Rakhi and promote the message of this auspicious day.
There were 500 people present in the celebration.
