Vidyalaya observed Children’s day
in a befitting way. The programme began at 9.30 am at the activity hall. It
started with floral tribute at the portrait of Chacha Nehru by Sri K K Sukla
(PGT, Hindi). A group of students from class X sang a patriotic song in it was
followed by a speech by Sri Biju Rai Singhania (PGT, Physics). There was a quiz
competition among the students of the four houses. A friendly match was held
between students of VKV Umrangso and J B Hagzar College where the guest team
won the match.
